Optimum's commitment to community
Optimum Group's solid foundations are also anchored in our support for social causes and our contributions to the advancement of social issues. For our company, these charitable actions are essential.
Partners of the Fondation du DR Julien
These past few years, the Optimum Group has been increasingly concerned with its social commitment. This is why in 2013, Optimum has become a partner of the Fondation du Dr Julien (FDJ). It is with great pride that we support the FDJ's Mission to help vulnerable children to develop their full potential, according to the Convention on the Rights of the Child. The FDJ is also a leader in the development of Community Social Pediatrics on the local, national and international levels.
For a third year, Optimum Group has held a charity campaign in support of the Fondation du Dr Julien (FDJ) at the end of 2016. The results of these donations
once again have exceeded the campaign's objectives and established a record!.
"We are grateful that the Optimum Group, a family business with values similar to our own, has decided to get involved with society's most vulnerable children. Their support will enable us to develop our services even more and better support families toward their well-being. We are hoping that this relationship with the Optimum Group will continue and grow with time" stated Dr. Gilles Julien, Founder and President of the Fondation du Dr Julien.
A collaborative vision
To give further impetus to its contribution, Optimum Group encourages employees who wish to collaborate in a personal way, to join the team of volunteers from some activities organized by the FDJ. Our group is proud to rely on the vitality and generosity of its great team to participate in projects set up by the FDJ. We also firmly believe that leveraging our resources is an opportunity to forge ever stronger links between our team and the Fondation du Dr Julien.
About the Fondation du Dr Julien
The mission of the Fondation du Dr Julien is to enable each child to develop to his/her own full potential in compliance with the Convention on the Rights of the Child. Each year, it provides direct services to more than 2,000 vulnerable children and their families through its two community social pediatrics centres, l'Assistance d'enfants en difficulté and le Centre de services préventifs à l'enfance, and through the Garage à musique. The Fondation is also involved in disseminating knowledge to students and professionals from various backgrounds, as well as to the community to influence intervention practices within vulnerable populations. The Fondation also supports the mobilization of a Community Social Pediatrics Movement in the country and elsewhere in the world.
